About Badoo Sound

1997, in Shenzhen the innovation center of China, a great company Badoo Sound Technology Ltd, was founded by several audio enthusiasts with years of experience, aimed at providing audio industry with high quality sound equipments.

Now Badoo Sound has built a large factory in China, focus on manufacturing high quality speakers and power amplifiers. And we built a R&D lab in Germany led by the chief audio designer Solomon Neumann who has more than 30 years experience in audio design and manufacturing. The lab brings lots of great idea to Badoo Sound, and it is the source of design for our products. At the mean time, Badoo Sound established strong business cooperation relationship with components and spare parts factories to make sure we have large production capacity and with stable quality.

Our products are all with extreme requirements in every detail. For each new product, our acoustic engineers would spand a number of years to design. From magnet to cone paper material, from x-over network to the cabinet volume and appearance, from painting to rigging ware, every detail part requires careful study, repeated testing. After a series of testing, we finally dare to determine product solutions. In the process, numerous design drawings, innumerable samples will be ruthlessly discarded. All what we do is just want to come up with a great product.

When a product design is finally confirmed, then it will enter into the production stage. Badoo Sound would invest a large amount of manpower and material resources, to do meticulous work in every aspect of production, to do strict quality inspection, and we would throw away substandard parts decisively, to ensure that all finished products would have high degree of quality consistency. We require different batches of the same product with consistent timbre. And, we require the magnetic flux, paper cone and X-over should be stable, and the product should have no change of timbre after a long time using.

In addition to providing top quality product, Badoo Sound has also built a professional service team who know well of audio industries and market to take good responsibity for service to customers. We provide professional installation services, audio skills training and after-sales service, to make customers getting good products with professional experience, eliminating worries.

Offering excellent products and first-class service to customers, Badoo Sound has won wide market acclaim, and slowly become the favorite choice for audio persons and music lovers, become popular and famous in the audio industries.

AES has launched Standards Sustainer Program

The standards work of the Audio Engineering Society plays an important role in the advancement of the pro audio industry. As end-user experience proves, standards like the polarity specification for analog XLR connectors (AES14), two-channel digital audio interface on XLR (AES3) and multichannel MADI (AES10) enable confident operation of compliant pro audio gear. The rapidly adopted audio-over-IP audio standard, AES67, and its control companion standard, AES70, are enabling interconnection between audio hardware using a number of proprietary standards by providing common audio carrier and control topologies.

Pro Audio Gear manufacturers and equipment designers employ AES standards to build customer confidence in their products, enhancing productivity in workflow.

Numerous standards in development are driving an expansion of the AES standards operation. “That necessitates an expanded base of funding,” said AES Standards Manager Dr. Richard Cabot. “Unlike other technical societies with standards programs,” he continued, “the AES does not charge participation fees. The Society believes that a completely open process ultimately produces better and more widely accepted standards. Consequently, other sources of revenue are required.”

The AES Standards Committee is soliciting pro audio industry support through a new program called “AES Standards Sustainers.”Besides enabling the development of standards that underlie fundamental technology in the audio industry, the program provides participants with free access to published standards (the number of users scales with contribution level) and offers significant marketing and public relations exposure. All Standards Sustainers will have their contributions recognized on the inside covers of all AES Standards and with online logos on the AES Standards home page, along with Standards Sustainer web links. Standards Sustainers will have exclusive usage rights to the AES Standards Sustainers logo. Also, as the Audio Engineering Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Standards Sustainers may contribute at four different levels: a $1,000 basic level, $2,000 Silver level, $5,000 Gold level or a $10,000 Platinum level. Founding Standards Sustainers include Netflix as a Gold Standards Sustainer; and EventideCovelozAdamson SystemsThe Telos Alliance, Audio Precision and Bose as Silver Sustainers. Other founding Standards Sustainers include Audyssey Laboratories, NTi Audio, MQA, KLIPPEL, Clair Global, Fraunhofer, Audio-Technica, NBC Universal, Metric Halo, Dolby Laboratories, USound, Control4, and Weiss Engineering.

“These industry leaders are acknowledging the important role played by AES in developing productivity-enhancing standards,” said Dr. Cabot. “Their contribution to the Standards process says much about their corporate character and about their dedication to their customers and to the audio industry as a whole.”
